Saribung Peak sits in the Damodar Himalayan range in the western part of the country lying close to Nepal Tibet border in the Upper Mustang region of Nepal. Saribung Peak climbing is a newly opened peak climbing expedition taking you to the restricted region of Upper Mustang, Lo Manthang and Nar Phu Valleys.

Popular and challenging Saribung Peak climbing will take you to the beaten trails and difficult passes of the region. You will come across rugged trails and old settlements throughout your trek. The trek will take you to the height of 6387 meters, encountering different views of the snow-clad giant mountains. This trek is physically demanding as you will have to trek through steep snowy trails and pass the Saribung La Pass which sits at an altitude of 5600 meters.

Saribung Peak  Expedition is achievable through both clockwise and anti-clockwise directions. The clockwise direction starts from Jomsom and then you follow the Upper Mustang Trail descending to Nar Phu Valley and end at Besisahar. Whereas, the anti-clockwise trek starts from Nar Phu ascending towards Saribung Pass and trekking towards the hidden kingdom of Upper Mustang.
