The trek goes through the Annapurna conservation area which spreads from the sub-tropical zone and to the alpine region.

Beginning from Chamje after a tiresome drive from Kathmandu, you walk along the Marshyangdi River valleys and finally reach the astonishing Manang village. The road extension has shortened the trekking itinerary. It is a place of spiritual prosperity. Walking below the Annapurna massifs surpass your imagination and brings smile on your enthusiastic face. Crossing the Thorong pass (5416m), you get the panoramas of Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, Manaslu and the vicinity. Muktinath temple is another spiritual destination which is on the descending route from Muktinath temple. The trek concludes in Nayapul as it goes through the rhododendron forest via Poon Hill.
